Process
Day 1
You will first discover who the Creek and Cherokee Native Americans were by visiting many different sites. Recorders fill out the research information sheets on each tribe to focus your research (regions they lived in, houses looked like, foods they ate, etc.)

Day 2
Continue your research and exploration of your assigned tribes. Please don't forget to continue filling out the information sheets as you hunt and gather information.
Day 3
Work with your tribe and use your completed information sheets to fill out an interactive venn diagram showing the differences between your assigned tribe and Yourself. How is your assigned tribe similar or different than you. Compare food, clothing, shelter, and recreation activities. You can do this with Kidspiration on your desktop or go to www.classtools.net.
Day 4
Work with your tribe to decide what type of presentation you would like to complete. You may choose a Glogster or a Power Point Presentation. You will meet with the teacher to review your findings and discuss preparations for your projects. Click Glogster or Power Point for your how to handout for using these. Day 5, 6, and 7
Work on presentations
Day 8
Get ready, today is the big day. Each of the five tribes will give their presentations to the class to prepare you for your Cultural Arts Day powwow. You will be evaluated by your peers and your teacher with feedback forms.
